Had front struts replaced and then an alignment afterwards to make sure everything was in order and there would not be anything that would cause excessive wear on the tires and the car would steer properly. I was told that everything had been completed properly and the car was ready to go. When I got into the car, I checked the trip gauge which I had reset to Zero before O gave the car to Service. The gauge was now at 4.2 miles. #Istarted to d rive the car and almost immediately realized that the car was pulling hard to the LEFT, exactly what it shouldn't be doing. I checked it on several roads and it still pulled to the left - into the oncoming traffic lane. I took the car back and told John that it was not properly aligned and needed to be fixed. He got the technician to check it be taking it on a short ride, He returned and then said he made an adjustment to the steering position sensor and that it was better now. My point is that it should have been done properly the first time so that I didn't have to bring it back to tell them that it was not properly. I believe that the struts should have been replaced, then the alignment done and then a test drive after both things were done. As it is, I question if the alignment was done at all, even though I was shown an alignment sheet. Had the test drive been done after the alignment, someone would have surely realized that there was still an existing problem and that the car should not have been returned to the owner (DRIVER) in that condition. It was definitely a safety problem and then turned into a trust problem between myself and the service department.
